What is SIP Trunking?

SIP trunking is a VOIP telephone service that runs over the internet. Think of the SIP Trunk as the Main Business Number eg: 03 9699 3006, and then the number of channels is the number of telephone lines. This is also known as Maximum Concurrent Calls. Every phone line sends out the main business number when calling customers, and in-bound calls hunt across all the channels looking for a free channel.
